Since the last update on our renovation, lots of progress has been made. I’m am optimistically thinking this could be over within a week, provided there are no scheduling issues 🤔🤞.
Did I mention that we still don’t have water service? I’ll choose to focus on the fact that there is a furnace (though not fully hooked up) and some other really fun details that I want to talk about. We will leave the elephant in the room (plumbing) for its own post. Moving on…
Over the past week, tile through the second floor was completed. Floors went in throughout the first floor (with the exception of the bathroom which we won’t discuss 😂), the majority of the trim and paint were completed (with the exception of touch ups) and light fixtures went in!
But the most exciting part for me is that the kitchen countertops are in! They look really great and it’s exciting to see this step complete because it’s one of the last things to happen so it’s a sign we are almost done (again 🤞).
Anyone else wrapping up a never-ending project? Am I the only one who thinks that tile and countertops are a topic that can be discussed for hours?
